This new division of Phoenix Obsidian Designs will be bringing you activity kits, informational cards, teaching props, booklets, and curriculum packets ideal for assisting in the teaching of California History.   Most of these items can actually be applied also to teaching periods of U.S. History in general.   Initially designed for fourth grade students in California, there are groups of items for all grade levels of students including college.   Some of these items would also be great additions to the inventory of gift shops in local and general history museums.   Coming soon will be an online catalog linked to our paypal shopping cart, for now you can find some below and in the tool section of this website.

This unique artifact is an obsidian flaked eccentric which has been carefully shaped to resemble the bear shaped artifact which has been selected as the California State Artifact.   Comes in a special labeled display.
